On February 26, 2013 Carnegie Robotics signed a long-term lease on a 29,000 sq. ft. mixed-use facility and will begin renovations to transform the landmark building into a world-class robotics innovation and production facility.

The Heppenstall building is adjacent to the National Robotics Engineering Center--from which Carnegie Robotics spun off and intends to maintain a strong relationship. The, large open-bay building and 3.5 acre site will allow for extensive expansion space as well as outdoor testing areas.

Renovations will be complete in early 2014. Read more at the Pittsburgh Business Times.
