This partnership combines Mercury Marine’s advanced joystick drive-by-wire system with Carnegie Robotics' high performance sensors and advanced autonomy algorithms. This system improves the safety of close quarters operation and automates docking so everyone can enjoy boating, regardless of experience.

This system combines powerful mapping, path planning, and control algorithms with an intuitive graphical interface to ensure an easy, confident user experience. The system maps it’s surroundings, the user selects the desired dock on a touch screen, and the vessel docks itself autonomously.
