The downward angled front face makes it unique from all other competitors such as zed stereo camera by Stereolabs, OAK-D stereo camera from Luxonis, and the Realsense stereo camera from Intel. The low angle decline allows the camera to be mounted on a flat surface and focuses the most accurate 3d point cloud measurements of the stereo camera where it matters most - the road ahead and the obstacles that may interupt it. This 3d stereo camera gave us the sight to sift through brush and dust for the DARPA RACER program and continually break offroad autonomous vehicle records year after year.
